Mengly J. Quach, M.D., M.P.H
Executive Director and Chief Medical Officer
H.E. Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach is a general practitioner and public health physician. Dr. Quach received his Pre-Med studies from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Master of Public Health degree in Public Health Practice from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Doctor of Medicine degree in General Medicine from Spartan Health Sciences University, School of Medicine in St. Lucia West Indies based in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Dr. Quach also completed a fellowship in Integrated Management of Childhood Illness with Partners for Development in Maryland based in Chhlong, Cambodia.
After his medical studies, Dr. Quach worked in academia for four years (two years in the United States) serving on the faculty of three universities before establishing the Mengly J. Quach Student Health Center in 2005 in conjunction with the American Intercon Institute and School which are subsidiaries of the Mengly J. Quach Education. Prior to coming to Cambodia, Dr. Quach dedicated his time volunteering in many different countries such as Mexico, Dominica, St. Lucia and Cambodia.
Sokrangsey Nin, M.D.
Dr. Sokrangsey Nin is a general practitioner and pediatrician. Dr. Nin has over 20 years of working experiences in different hospitals both private and public. Before joining Mengly J. Quach Student Health Center, Dr. Nin worked as the Chief of Intensive Care Unit in the Chinese Hospital’s Pediatric Ward for five years, with Center of Hope Phnom Penh for four years as Medical Officer and AEA International SOS Clinic Phnom Penh for another twelve years from 1999 to 2011.
Dr. Nin received his Pre-Med studies from the Faculty of Medicine of Cambodia. In 1988, Dr. Nin earned a Doctor of Medicine degree in General Pediatric Medicine and a Certificate in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the General and Pediatric Institute of Medicine in Russia in 1992.
Mr. Hong has over 25 years of working experience in different hospitals both private and public. Before joining the Mengly J. Quach Student Health Center, Mr. Hong worked as a Nurse in Medicine Ward at the Centre Anti Tuberculoses (CENAT) for seven years, with Center of Hope Phnom Penh for twelve years as Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department and Medical Clinic and International SOS Clinic Phnom Penh for another three years.
Mr. Hong received his Nursing Degree from Nursing School, Phnom Penh in 1989.
Mr. Ly has over 17 years of working experience in different hospitals, clinics and NGOs. Before joining Mengly J. Quach Student Health Center, Mr. Ly had worked as a Laboratory Technician at Raffles Medical Center for eight years, as a Laboratory Manager at Somary Raffles Medical Center for five years, and as an Assistant Operations Manager with Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia for one year.
Mr. Ly received his Laboratory Technician Degree from Technical School Medical Care, Phnom Penh in 1997.
